Seadragon / Microsoft Photosynth

Microsoft Photosynth has been out there for a little while now, but you may not have heard of and/or seen Seadragon, the technology behind Photosynth. foO blogged this one the other day, and I thought I'd pop it up here as well: a jaw-dropping demo from the TED conference. Photosynth is cool and all, but the first few minutes of the following video blew me away because I had no idea just how powerful the Seadragon technology is...

That seriously rocks.
